Early Childhood Teacher
Abacus Kindergarten is looking for an experienced and dedicated ECT to join our wonderful team at our 79 place centre at Stanhope Gardens. It is an inclusive environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn.

Abacus Kindergarten and Learning Centres ECT requirements:
- Child Care Professional with an approved Bachelor of early Childhood that meets ACECQA regulations or be actively working towards an approved Bachelor - already hold an early childhood Diploma level qualification and be at least 50% through the Bachelor qualification
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Knowledge and experience in implementing the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and National Regulation
- A passion for developing, planning and implementing an innovative, educational program with a commitment to inclusive early childhood practice
- Current HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate
- Good knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Current Working with Children Check
- Accredited Child Protection Certificate (identify and respond to children and young people at risk) or willingness to obtain
- A good communicator with children, parents and staff, so excellent communication skills are the key – both written and verbal
- A professional and co-operative approach to working with staff, families and the school community
- Enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
